Hi, my name is Aimara and I am a committed music teacher and musician with over 20 years of experience working in school and private settings, in other countries and here in the UK. I have a keen interest in the development of young people through music. I am the creator and owner of The Music Playground, a series of workshops designed to promote and develop children’s performance skills. I have an extensive background in developing engaging methodologies with a thorough knowledge of the UK music syllabuses. I also have experience in performing, teaching, conducting and devising at all levels. In addition, I am a Cuban Classical Music specialist as well as a published freelance writer.
